A Different Kind of Psychiatric Care
Experience Matters
For more than 35 years, I’ve helped adults with diagnostic uncertainty, co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and a wide range of psychiatric concerns through careful evaluation, thoughtful treatment and collaborative care.
I believe meaningful treatment begins with understanding the whole person—not just the symptoms. My approach emphasizes careful listening, comprehensive evaluation, thoughtful prescribing and collaboration with therapists, physicians and other members of your healthcare team to develop an individualized treatment plan. Every person has a unique story, and understanding that story is essential to making an accurate diagnosis and developing an individualized treatment plan.
I combine comprehensive psychiatric formulation, medical/neurological review, and standard baseline cognitive screening to deliver clear, actionable treatment roadmaps.
I am board certified in both Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine.
I welcome all adults seeking thoughtful psychiatric care, including those who:
- Are looking for greater diagnostic clarity or a second opinion.
- Want private recovery care from any substance use disorder.
- Want clarity to determine if you have a primary psychiatric disorder or have had symptoms related to a medical, neurological or substance use disorder.
- Have not improved with previous treatment or multiple medication trials.
- Live with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Have mental health issues that overlap with medical symptoms, including long COVID, POTS, MCAS, ME/CFS and dysautonomia.
- Are seeking comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and on-going medication management.
- Value a collaborative personalized approach to care.
- Are seeking a psychiatrist who takes the time to understand the whole person.
- Are seeking medication review, medication simplification and/or safe gradual dose reduction.
With your permission I work closely with therapists, primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that your treatment is coordinated and comprehensive.
